About us

inklings practitioner talking with caregiver

Inklings empowers caregivers who share in the care of babies and very young children, ensuring they have the tools they need to nurture and support the earliest stages of a baby’s social and communication development.

Grounded in decades of research, the program strengthens understanding, connection and early relationships. At its heart, Inklings is about tuning in - helping caregivers pause, notice, and respond to a baby’s unique cues. Whether through sounds, gestures, movement or expressions, babies are constantly communicating, and Inklings provides the knowledge and support to ensure those early signals are seen, understood, and encouraged.

While Inklings is our flagship one-to-one program, its core principles have inspired a broader suite of offerings that extend its reach and impact.

Every program in the Inklings suite is developed through high-quality research and grounded in a living, evolving body of evidence.

As research advances, Inklings adapts, translating the latest knowledge into practical, relevant tools and resources for families, educators, health professionals, and policy makers. This ensures that Inklings remains at the forefront of early childhood development, bridging the gap between science and real-life care.

Each initiative is tailored to support the critical relationships that shape a child’s early life.
