Inklings is proud to announce the appointment of Jacinta Miller as its new Aboriginal Community Engagement Officer.

Jacinta brings a strong commitment to listening, learning and walking alongside families and communities. Her work will focus on strengthening connections that support children to thrive, while ensuring Aboriginal voices remain central to Inklings’ approach.

Her role is dedicated to building respectful relationships with community, guided by cultural knowledge, lived experience and connection. Through meaningful engagement, Jacinta will help ensure Inklings’ work continues to be culturally safe, responsive and grounded in community priorities.

“For me, it’s about being out in community — listening, connecting, and building strong, long-lasting relationships,” Ms Miller said.
“Building trust is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m proud to bring my own knowledge and lived experience into my work. I hope my role can help strengthen connections and bridge gaps where they exist, supporting families in ways that are culturally safe, respectful, and grounded in community.”

Inklings looks forward to the positive impact Jacinta’s appointment will have in strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal families and communities.
